We are a group of women from Plymouth Church in downtown Seattle who make quilts for others. Recipients are companions at Plymouth Healing Communities, high school seniors in our youth group, and new babies at our church.

yf quilt celebration
Above: Four happy recipients with their youth minister, Cory. Left: Maurine, Piece Makers founder, and graduating senior, David.
For one year Plymouth Piece Makers kept a focus on making eight quilts for the graduating high school seniors. Today we wrapped these youth in love and quilts, to remind them of whose they are and who they are as they go out into the world.

You have a very productive lot of quilters up your way, Patricia!
ReplyDeleteI really like the quilt for your youth leader, & also the idea of "wrapping" the grads in a love quilt-they need a reminder of their faith when they go off to college & are inundated with the ungodly ways of the world in our universities!
